Presenting your Daughter With a Modern Bathroom Vanity
March 10th, 2010 by

I’ve always had a challenging dilemma of sharing the second floor toilet with my older sister. I cant believe it when she levels the whole area, but sheputs every crap that she owns in it thinking that no one else is entitled to use it. So for her 16th birthday I decided to settle the score and get myself some sanity by making discount vanities.

I was enrolled in woodworking that quarter and when I shared with my instructor that I wanted to create a bathroom vanity for my older sister he was absolutely ecstatic. We agreed on on performing a littleplanning before getting the materials to find a motif that was perfect for her. I was lucky enough to get this Safari mahogany creation that looked nice but didn’t have too many aesthetics; it was perfect for my bathroom vanity project.

My instructor and I started working on the discount bathroom vanity cabinets. Creating the base and the casing was the easy portion but finding the right accents and carving the pieces to finish took longer than I had imagine. Three weeks and 6 wood carvings later we finished the cabinet and thought to furnish it with an old rose color.

My sister was so surprised to see her very own vanity cabinet put in the upstairs bathroom. I put a satin ribbon around it and left a post it with a message.
